A Bit About Me
Hi, my name is Ruth. Woody's Walkies is named after my German Pointer called Woody. I've had a dog all my life and I walk for a couple of hours each day. Walks are generally at Horsell Wetlands, Horsell Common, Ottershaw Park, Virginia Water Lakes and Homewood Park. I can offer a range of dog walking and sitting services to suit your needs. Whether you're looking for daily walks, day care or boarding or someone to pop round to check on your dog, I am more that happy to help! My Services
Woody's Walkies offer a variety of dog walking packages, Home Care and Boarding in my home, designed to keep your dog happy and healthy! Photos and updates can be provided during all walks and stays. Payments can be made on the website (Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted) or in cash on the day of your dogs walk. Apologies, AMEX cards are not accepted. Should you require a copy of my Policies and Procedures, these can be emailed to you.
Solo walks - £20/hr
Perfect for dogs who prefer one-on-one attention. Your dog will enjoy a personalised walk tailored to their needs and energy level at a time to suit you.
Group walks - £15/hr
A great way for your dog to socialise and make new friends. I carefully match dogs based on temperament and size for safe and fun group walks. Groups will consist of no more than 3 dogs. Any additional family dogs walked in the same group will be charged at a discounted rate of £12/hr.
Pick-up & Drop-Off
Pick-ups can be scheduled any time from 8:30AM. Your dog will be securely harnessed in the car. After their walk, your dog will be dropped home free of charge no later than Mid-day unless dog sitting has been arranged. Please note - Charges may apply if you live more than 5 miles from Addlestone. Special arrangements can be made if you will not be home when I drop your dog back.
Home Care & Boarding
If you need Home care for your best doggy friend, there are half day and full day options which both include pick up and drop home. Your dog/dogs will be cared for as if my own and receive lots of love, care, exercise and attention, access to a very large garden, fully enclosed with 6ft high fences. They will also have the company of my dog and the full run of the house, Dogs are allowed to sleep in my room if they are boarding.
Half Day (max 4hrs includes a 1 hour group walk - £30
Full Day (7-8 hrs includes 1 hour group walk and a shorter afternoon walk.) - £45.
Alternatively, you can request just a couple of hours.
Boarding at my home overnight. (.pick up and drop off not included) Includes 2 walks per day. £55
Initial Introduction
Before walking or caring for your dog/s I will arrange a free introductory meeting with you and your canine companion. This is crucial to make sure you are both happy and comfortable. It also gives you a chance to make me aware of any behavioural concerns/needs that your dog may have. Your dogs vaccinations must be up to date.

Brilliant service! Ruth is excellent with our dog Lola. She taliors the walks to Lola likes and needs and always gives a detailed account of each walk including photos which is great. She’s punctual, accommodating, friendly and kind with a clear love of all dogs and Lola loves her 💖 highly recommend ⭐
Ruth has been so friendly and her dog, Woody is just lovely too. My dog, Chester has really enjoyed all of his walks with Ruth and Woody. I love getting messages and pictures of Chester on his walk and knowing that he is home ok too. Thanks, Ruth.
My cockapoo and lab went on their first walk the other day with woodys walkies and Ruth was amazing with them. She sent lots of photos and they looked so happy. Will definitely be booking more walks in !!
